While choosing frameless shower screen you need to consider these points:
How will it be fixed to the wall, floor, and even ceiling if necessary?
Is it a walk in shower or will you require a door?
Depending upon designs frameless shower screens are fixed to a place. These are fixed by using silicon, aluminium, or chrome clips. So, you must decide what design are you looking for?
Installing a shower screen is a not an easy task. A lot of the installation works comes al lot down to the measurement and design process. If you wish to place the shower screen in an awkward place, you can ask a designer to design the screen for you which will fit in the space. If measurement of the panel and the location of holes for fixing are not accurately measured and manufactured, then installation can be very difficult as the glass can’t be cut once it is manufactured. If you are willing to install a frameless or a semi-frameless screen then it is recommended that you leave the job to a licensed glazier to ensure it is done correctly and for safety reasons. Installation of frameless shower screens requires special tools and experience with glass.
You may have grown up with a shower screen that had wire running throughout and it was probably enclosed in a frame and anchored to the wall on all sides. All these features were designed to keep you safe and we understand it takes some getting use to seeing a sheer piece of glass with no wire and no frame and trust that it is safe for you and your family.
All our shower screens are Australian Standards compliant and manufactured with safety glass. The manufacturing of glass has continued to develop over the years so that we can now provide all different styles of frameless shower screens with confidence in the safety of them.
Cleaning the frameless shower screen involves cleaning the glass panels and the glass clips which hold the panels in position.

Frameless shower screens are more expensive than the framed and semi-frameless shower screens because they are more durable, require different installation, offer greater performance and are much easier to clean. During the installation, you will not need to worry about installing frames except for metal clips for holding the glass in position. Similarly, the cleaning process is simpler because it does not involve cleaning metal frames and sealers.
